Gareth Braithwaite

Gareth is ex-Ravenstone resident now living in Normanton Le Heath, married with two daughters. A semi-retired Director working with the Warden, Clerk and Trustees to help make Ravenstone Court a safe and pleasant home for our beneficiaries to live.
In his spare time Gareth runs a consultancy supporting small businesses with operational, IT and specialist training and can often be found walking (looking for!) his red fox Labrador in the local fields :-). He also act as Finance Officer to several small good causes and sports clubs.
His skill sets include Governance, Project Management, GDPR and IT
Lucy Cure
Trustee
Lucy Cure has lived in the village for 25 years with my husband and two sons. We live in one of the oldest houses in Ravenstone, which is listed. She has hands on experience of house renovations and sound knowledge of listed buildings and legislation.
Lucy is a retired police officer with experience in community policing, safeguarding, risk management and policy and procedure. Her aim as a Trustee is to promote the wellbeing of the beneficiaries, ensuring they are protected and the charity continues to deliver into the next generation.
Lucy is part of our Pastoral Care team.
Becca Riley
Trustee
Becca Riley has been a trustee since 2019. Becca has worked as a Registered Nurse and District Nurse. She has held lead roles across hospital, community health & social care services. She was Lead Executive Officer of a Hospice and was an independent visitor to children’s homes. She has extensive experience of supporting people with disabilities, long term conditions and those in last years of life/ receiving palliative care.
Becca is a life and business coach, using range of approaches to help bring about individual or team change and empowerment

Nick Tudor-Jones
Trustee
Nick Tudor-Jones has been a trustee since 2015. He is a retired design manager who worked for a major construction group for over 20 years, involved in the design, tendering and construction of a wide range of projects ranging from social housing to landmark Millenium developments. Previously Nick worked for a Housing Association as a development surveyor researching ways to create inner city accommodation from redundant commercial properties using a mix of funding opportunities. In both roles Nick liaised with numerous other agencies to ensure that the correct standards and legal responsibilities were achieved.
David Bates

David is a local resident and retired business man from the commercial sector.

John has been a Trustee and ex-Chairman for over 20 years.

David Ross
Clerk to the Trustees
The Trustee Committee is supported by our Clerk Of Works who looks after our employees and the day-to-day operation and running of the Charity. David joined us in 2024 from a senior management role in the the hospitality sector.
